MODERN AND CLASSIC MEN'S HAIRCUT STYLES

Skin Fade (Zero Fade)

A modern style which creates a seamless blend between the hairline and skin.

This comes in the following variations:

  • Low (The hairline is blended around 2-3 cm above the ear)
  • Mid (The hairline is blended around 5 cm above the ear)
  • High (The hairline is blended at a similar level to where it naturally sits at the front of the forehead)

Another variation of this style is a Zero Fade where instead of blending to skin, instead a small amount of hair remains by using no guard (i.e. a zero) on the clippers.

Pictured on the right is a high skin fade.

Taper Fade (Burst Fade/ Drop Fade)

Similar to a skin fade or a zero fade, a taper fade blends the hairline to skin but only around the sideburns/ ears and at the back of the neck.

This gives a more subtle blending and finish.

A burst fade is a variation of a taper where the blending occurs in a burst pattern around the sideburns and ears to the side of the neck.

A drop fade is a taper where the blending extends from the sideburns around the ears along the sides of the neck and to the back of the neck (following the natural hair line).

Pictured on the left is a burst fade.

Pictured on the right is a taper fade variation of the mullet.

Basic Fade

Similar to other fades, however instead of fading to skin we fade to a short amount of hair (typically, a 1 guard or higher - around 1mm of hair).

Pictured on the right is a basic fade which also incorporates a fade into the beard.

Classic Haircuts (Basic Haircuts)

We can also cater to a range of classic men's haircuts - whether you are looking for a side part, a comb over or a flat top. Or if you prefer, we can apply a modern twist on a classic style.

Pictured on the left is a classic gentlemen's side part which we have modernised with volume and sharp clean lines.

Long Hair Cut

We classify long hair cuts as a length longer than 10cm. Whether you are looking for a hair cut with volume and texture or the Aussie classic mullet - we can make you vision a reality.

Pictured on the right is a wolf cut which lightens the length by emphasising volume and texture.
